Boasting one of the most beautiful views on the island - across the harbour and directly up to the stunning Dalt Vila and old town - it’s a tough choice deciding whether you want to tear yourself away from the cosy dance floor to sit and chill out on El Divino’s amazing terrace. Our tip - give yourself time to do both.

Perching on the edge of the new marina, El Divino is definitely home to the European jet-set crowd, surrounded by a fleet of glamorous yachts, high-end luxury cars and with its own lights twinkling and lighting up the marina with a warm pink and yellow glow. With a super exclusive feel, the club also boasts a five star restaurant so you can fuel up and get those clubbing reserves built up before dancing the night away.

El Divino began its life as an exclusive VIP club back in 1992, however its doors were thrown open to the discerning Ibiza social set soon after. Hosting mammoth club brands such as Miss Moneypenny’s, Fashion TV, Hed Kandi and MN2S, El Divino still retains the exclusive feel of old, while the musical policy has taken it well into the future.

If it’s house music you live for, then El Divino is the place to be. Funky house, deep grooves and soulful vocals are what resident DJ Franco Mulero and his international guests promise. You can also expect live PAs, percussion, saxophone all accompanied by the ultra glam El Divino dancers - making El Divino a truly aural (as well as visual) experience.

The choice of two VIP areas means you can sit in the elevated glass room inside the club or take your pick of the popular tables on the outdoor terrace, though no matter where you are you’ll be grooving to the sounds of just the one DJ as there is only one room - a welcome change from trying to see too many acts in too many rooms on the one night.

Rumours have cast a bit of a shadow on the club’s future - but for 2008 at least we can assure you El Divino will be lighting up the harbour and sparkling the nights away in style.

Are we there yet? While arriving on an über-exclusive yacht or a chauffeur driven Hummer is the way we’d all like to arrive at El Divino, there are plenty of other options on offer! Our favourite is to take the tiny El Divino shuttle boat from Ibiza Town - you’ll get change from a two euro coin! If you choose to take a taxi, keep your receipt as the club will refund your hard-earned cash if there is three or more passengers - can’t get a better deal than that!
