Smack bang in the middle of Las Salinas stretch of soft white sand is jockey Club - an Ibiza institution for over 15 years.

From the outside, this could be just another chiringuito - plenty of white sunbeds (get in early to reserve yours and be prepared to pull out your wallet - this is one of the more expensive bars on the beach) and umbrellas and a shady covered restaurant terrace. But take a few steps towards that shady terrace and you’ll find a fantastical escape from the busy beach, wooden decking replete with old fashioned nautical décor hanging from the ceilings and adorning the walls and a cosy atmosphere that makes it easy to understand why you need to get in early to get a table at this popular Salinas social hotspot.

Though of course, if you can’t be bothered leaving your sun lounger, the attentive wait staff will bring everything you’re after directly to you!

Now boasting its own clothing store (including monogrammed tees, bikinis and towels for those who can’t get enough of the experience) and daily DJs serving up a slice of the finest cruisey house beats on the beach, the Jockey Club has fast become a destination for the European jet-set. If you want to be seen as part of the scene (if you know what we mean!) then this is the place to be.
