Sa Trinxa

Sitting on the rocky edge at the furthest end of Las Salinas is the beach bar with more street cred (or would that be sand cred?) than any other on the island, Sa Trinxa. With a relaxed, hippy-like vibe, a seventies-esque appearance and a cosmopolitan clientele who aren’t bothered about things like chauffeur driven hummers and designer handbags, you’ll instantly feel like part of the Sa Trinxa family the minute you’ve ordered your first cerveza!

That’s after you’ve waded your way through the naturists (we’ve been asking ourselves recently why it’s never the hotties that go nude on the beach?), jugglers, club promotion teams, beach parades, bikini sellers, families and odd bods on the outskirts - Sa Trinxa is a magnet for all types and a welcome respite from the more expensive beach bars on Salinas - this is a bar that has remained true to Ibiza’s free loving heritage.

The chiringuito itself is like a run down old beach shack, however the food and the service are anything but! From amazing fresh salads to hearty tortillas and the best cocktails on the beach, there’s something here to satisfy every taste.

Musically, you can’t get much more Balearic than here. DJs - including the legendary Jon Sa Trinxa - spin an eclectic mix of lazy chilled beats that pick up the pace as the afternoon progresses. Its easy to get carried away at Sa Trinxa and end up dancing in the sand long after the sun’s gone down… all part of the ‘real’ Ibiza experience.

Be sure to walk the plank and dive into the turquoise waters of Salinas in between drinks - you never know who you’ll meet out in the water!
