Smack bang in the middle of the busy main strip, Gemini’s stands out from its neighbours thanks to luminous red fairy lights entwined around the giant palm trees on the terrace and an underground music policy that attracts a crowd of a very international flavour - it’s definitely the number one port of call for the Italian massive in August. With local favourite DJs such as Tomas Hedberg and Tuccillo regularly hitting the decks, it’s fast becoming one of our new favourite pre-club haunts.
The bar itself is kitted out with a funky mosaic of tiles and mirrors and there’s a small amount of space if you fancy a bit of a dance or to take a seat at the bar, though to be honest, outside is where the party’s really at. It’s a premium, hustle and bustle kind of place, so whether you’ve just come for the parades or a quick drink on your way to the club, this is a supremely social place to make a pit-stop.
For those lucky enough to live in Ibiza in the winter, Gemini’s continues to open on the weekends - however only inside, behind a heavy velvet curtain as it’s too chilly to be sitting by the water. It reminds us a little of a vortex, where once you’re in you lose all track of time - in a good way!
INSIDER’S TIP: Gemini’s is a great place to score your club tickets for the night, you know you’ll get the best deal on price without feeling like you need to haggle.
