IBZ Lounge

Another of the more swish bars in Ibiza, IBZ Lounge was previously known as the Mao rooms, frequented by the likes of Jade Jagger and Frank Lampard - not together of course! In its current inception, the crowd remains the same though the name and ownership have changed - think Hed Kandi, Miss Moneypenny’s and you’ll get the drift.

With three floors, an über-stylish lounge area outside and a very Twin Peaks-esque décor inside - lots of velvet, stunning wood panelled floors with strips of Perspex lit from beneath, baroque furnishings and glam mirrors for the in-crowd to constantly check their reflections - IBZ Lounge is a actually a little gem in the port’s very hectic tourist trap square. A great place to stop and enjoy your cocktails, IBZ also serves sushi and tapas as a healthy alternative to the many cheap pizzerias in the area.

INSIDER’S TIP: Don’t forget to check out the VIP area upstairs - it’s ultra glam and can often feel like you’ve found your own little sanctuary within the port.
