Teatro Pereyra

Sometimes, during your holiday in ibiza, you’ll get the urge for a little culture that isn’t club-oriented. Let’s not forget that - strange as it may seem - not everyone crammed onto this little island is into 24/7 parties and dance music!

Teatro Pereyra is part of the island’s heritage - a busy live music bar built in the foyer of an abandoned nineteenth century theatre, it’s been lovingly renovated into a modern bar that wouldn’t be out of place in the heart of New York, however luckily for us, it’s in the heart of Ibiza Town.

With a very mixed crowd, ranging from wealthy and older tourists to a regular local contingency and the odd clued-up clubber, there’s no denying the atmosphere in Teatro Pereyra is always lively and fun. Even for the most die hard music enthusiast, sometimes the live music in here can be just a tad too loud - take a seat in the elevated balcony so you can still hear your own conversation and enjoy the music at the same time.

INSIDER’S TIP: Be sure to check out the tabletops opposite the bar - there are thousands of business cards, flyers and even plane ticket stubs from over the years wedged in there - it’s amazing!
