Who have thought that the plush surroundings of Marina Botafoch also housed such a kitsch and eclectic music venue? Izay comes alive at night, long after the cafes and restaurants of the Marina have packed away their tables and chairs, and inside you’ll find a cross-section of regulars from sailors to well dressed elderly gents and dreadlocked hippies.

With comfy couches it’s easy to sink into for the night, a very glamorous grand piano at one end of the room and a DJ booth built in to the end of the bar, you never quite know what type of entertainment you’ll come across until you enter Izay. From one-man bands to Spanish pop nights or funky house DJs with a packed dancefloor, there’s also a pool room at the back if you needed to find further ways to keep entertained.
