Kumharas

Kumharas is a sunset bar with a difference. Situated in San Antonio Bay, it still boasts the same spectacular sunset views as its neighbours on the Sunset Strip but provides a completely alternative atmosphere.

With a rustic, hippy-like ambient vibe, with eccentric chillout wafting gently out over the bay, perfectly setting the mood as the sun sinks into the sea, it’s easy to see why locals prefer Kumharas as their sunset destination of choice - more laidback and relaxed than the intensity (and tourist trappings) of the other side of San An.

If you can’t get a seat at one of the wooden and cane tables and chairs, or brightly covered couches, simply take a step forward and use the rocky bay to park your butt! With plenty of pets (and a few little hippy kids for good measure) running around, it’s a totally do-as-you-please vibe down here - just the way we like it.

Inside, there’s a miniature hippy market for those who can’t help but splurge on something to wear out that evening and by the entrance you can order crepes if feeling a bit peckish. The bar itself is situated in the tower building, though you can sit and chill - there’s table service so you don’t have to lift a finger!

After dark, the music goes on a bit of a Goa-esque journey, travelling from house through to rave, minimal tech and hip hop with live percussionists and MCs - basically anything goes.
