Shopping at a market is an experience that differs from country to country and in Ibiza, it even differs from market to market. From flea market-esque car boot sales and authentic hippy markets that date back to the ‘70s, to night markets by the sea and fresh food produce markets, there are plenty of places to spend hours wandering around, socialising and perhaps fitting a spot of shopping in between.

So pack your favourite woven basket – or better yet, buy one on your travels – and set off to market! The intense heat of the summer means it’s best to stick to either early morning or very late afternoon trips as sweating and puffing your way through a dusty market trail is not very appealing at all!
