Blue Marlin

Blue Marlin seemed to take on superstar status in 2007 and 2008 looks set to see its rise in Ibiza’s history – not content with simply having THE most glamorous beach club on the island, the owners are also the proud owners of one of the best restaurants – and just because it’s on the beach doesn’t have to mean you can only dine during the day as Blue Marlin is open for dinner seven nights a week.

Take your pick between tables on the exclusive wooden decked terrace or sit with your toes in the sand OR if you can’t bear to tear yourself off your oversized sun bed, that’s no problem wither – the waiters will simply bring over a small side table so you don’t have to move a muscle!

With a definitely Asian twist to the menu, 2008 has seen the addition of a sushi bar – courtesy of the uber-hip Planet Sushi – to Blue Marlin, with a selection you can order either by the piece or by the plate, the perfect type of food to snack on in the heat and on the beach.

WHAT TO ORDER: With such an extensive menu, we find it hard to recommend just one dish. But, if we must, it’s the octopus salad – truly amazing.
