Who said Playa D’en Bossa was limited when it came to food choices? At the north end of the beach, just before the crossing to Figueretes sits Joanne & Darren’s – an amazing English style café with the most amazing views of the beach and across to Formentera.

Away from the clubbing hustle and bustle of Bora Bora, it’s here that you’re likely to spot the English clubbing fraternity tucking into some hearty tucker, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner – particularly on a Sunday, for Darren’s famous roasts where you can choose between chicken, lamb or beef (Mum never gave you that much choice!) or a combo of the three – while catching up on the gossip from back home via SKY TV, wi-fi and the UK papers of course!

All ingredients are authentic and from the UK and we can’t go past the friendly smiling face of Joanne to make ordering your morning coffee less of a chore! Sitting on the terrace and staring out to sea, it’s easy to see how you can while away the hours in here and lunch can easily stretch into dinner…

WHAT TO ORDER: It’s a guilty pleasure but we can’t go past one of Darren’s bacon butties – or then again, the Sunday roast. Would it be bad to order both in one sitting?
