Sunny Santa Gertrudis has a reputation on the island as being a foodie’s paradise and it’s stylish, chic and super-cool restaurants like Bacchus which have helped put the area on the map.

Whether you visit Bacchus for lunch or dinner, the atmosphere is always friendly, relaxed and the service exceptional. With a gorgeous terrace (complete with a giant tree growing in the centre) out the back and stunningly lit Ibicencan architecture on the interior (it’s the area’s oldest finca) it’s a struggle to choose just where you want to sit. We love the fairy lit exterior, violet table dressings and stunning wooden beams throughout – one of the most beautiful new restaurants on the island, without a doubt.

And the struggle doesn’t stop there, with a menu so amazing that you’ll need to come here more than once to sample it all – thankfully the expert wait staff are on hand to help with your selection and of course, help you choose the perfect wine to accompany your meal!

WHAT TO ORDER: May we recommend heading to Bacchus for the menu del dia (that’s menu of the day, where three courses are the norm at an amazingly budget price) – while the selections change every day, it’s a great way to sample more than one menu item – and if the breaded beef is available, we can’t recommend it enough!
