Pastis
If you like your food a little bit rich, your location a little bit kitsch and your service with a side of exceptional, then make a beeline for Pastis, just on the outskirts of Plaza Del Parque in Ibiza Town.
The fancy French bistro has been turning heads for a few years now, from its Twin peaks-esque décor, made up of chequered floor tiles, red velvet curtains, framed newspaper clippings and antlers adorning the walls and it’s exquisite selection of menu items.
As you step through the tiny door way, really marked only by some brightly coloured fairy lights hanging from the balcony above (and the occasional chalkboard denoting the specials out the front – but not always!), it feels like you’re stumbling on one of Ibiza’s best kept secrets – with just a handful of tables, it’s very intimate (and often requires a reservation) and better for small groups.
Complete with oh-so-French waiters in crisp white shirts and with perfectly trimmed moustaches to boot, it’s easy to feel as though you’ve stepped into Paris for the evening!
WHAT TO ORDER: We recommend you make an early reservation and order the duck – such a taste sensation it’s always the first menu item to sell out each and every day.
