Apartments

Renting an apartment for the duration of your stay is little bit like creating a home away from home – whether you choose a serviced apartment or a private rental, most come complete with a swimming pool so you can wander down for a quick dip in the mornings before you’ve even decided what to do for the day or you can just laze aro und in the sun if you don’t feel ready to face the island life but also don’t fancy staring at the same four walls all day.

Ideal for groups of friends (it’s often possible to get neighbouring apartments in many complexes), renting an apartment – yes, even a luxury one - is extremely cost-effective when spilt between a group and you get the full benefits of a kitchen ready and waiting to be stocked with all the essentials, laundry facilities and entertaining areas.

Most apartments available for rent are in popular areas such as Playa D’en Bossa, Ibiza Town, San Antonio and the surrounding suburbs, meaning they are ideal if you don’t have your own transport when on the island – easily located and serviced by buses and taxis so you also don’t need to worry about the hassle of parking your hire car!

PROS: You get the privacy of your own bedroom and plenty of space to unpack and there’s no housekeeping banging on your door at silly o’clock to change the towels you haven’t even used yet.
CONS: No housekeeping means you have to clean up after yourself and there’ll be no room service at all hours either when you run out of water!
