If you’re on a budget, hostels are definitely the way to go. Particularly on a party island in Ibiza, where the only thing you really need digs for is to store your belongings and a bed to pass out on when you’ve finally called it a night. Thankfully, the bohemian nature of the island caters to everyone and you’ll find hostels of all shapes, sizes and in all conditions dotted all over the island.
From seaside shacks and pretty little converted apartments in the old town to modern and minimal lodgings designed specifically with an Ibiza clubber in mind, the only issue is deciding where you prefer to be based – close to the action so you can wake up and do it all again or the ocean, so you can roll out of bed and spend your days recovering on the sand.
PROS: You can save all your money to spend on the finer things in Ibiza – and once you’ve ordered a round of drinks in one the major clubs, you’ll be glad you’ve scrimped on accommodation – who spends that much time in their bed when they’re on holiday anyway!
CONS: If you’re sharing a dorm room, there’s little chance of any privacy – and in fact no chance of sneaking in your new best friends (or your holiday romance!) for an impromptu afterparty! And as for long indulgent showers? Forget it!
