Quite simply, hotels are fabulous. Everyone knows when you’re on holiday the last thing you feel like doing is anything so why not go somewhere where everything you’ve ever wanted is at the tip of your fingertips – on the speed dial of the telephone located conveniently beside your big comfy bed.

Plasma screen TV? Check. Wifi access if you can’t drag yourself away from your laptop (or need to stay connected to virtualibiza.com to keep in touch with what’s going on in Ibiza)? Check. A shower with amazing water pressure? A safe to guard your precious belongings? Concierge service? Room service? Check mate!

PROS: Despite the new laws prohibiting after hours clubbing, we believe room service equals 24-hour bar service – instant after party! Then there’s the benefit of housekeeping – clean fluffy white towels on a daily basis, a sparkling bathroom and freshly made sheets – what more could you ask for when you’re on holidays?
CONS: Housekeeping tends to be on the early side of the morning so be prepared to be woken up by the buzzer or you’ll risk skipping a day without those fluffy white towels! Hotel rooms never seem to be big enough either, so it’s not always an ideal venue to smuggle your mates into for an after hours session.
