Villas

Want a truly rock star Ibiza experience? Renting a luxury villa for the week (or the month or even the season – who’s counting?) puts you in the lap of luxury 24/7. Think Hollywood, think Playboy Mansion, think MTV film clips and you’ll get the idea.

Of course, not all villas are created equal, and while some are on the P.Diddy scale of glamour and excess, others are more modest and cater to the more discerning budgets!

Whether it’s a sleek and modern villa decked out in the latest Phillipe Stark and Bang & Olufsen wares or a traditional Ibicencan architecture complete with horses, chickens and a windmill, villas are ideal for groups or families. Becoming somewhat of a compound, your villa can be the home to pre-parties, afterparties, bbqs, lazy days by the pool, dinners, dancing – treat it as you would your own home.

Deciding on the location of your villa is of utmost importance before booking – for example, if you prefer to be close to the clubs and need to get taxis to your destinations, it’s wise to choose a villa in San Rafael, Jesus or San Jose – somewhere you’ll easily be able to access.

If the idea of being as far away from the hustle and bustle of Ibiza appeals to you more, then a remote location is ideal – though we’d suggest hiring a car so you can pop out at a moment’s notice or on a whim.

PROS: Having your own space to relax in is a luxury in itself in Ibiza and when it comes complete with a private pool, your own personal balcony and all the mod cons, it’s easy to understand why when some people check into a villa, they never want to check back out…
CONS: Be sure to think about the compatibility of your group before booking your villa – sharing with more than 10 mates is a good idea in theory, however in practice (and combined with the ‘stresses’ of an Ibiza party holiday) it can all get a little bit Big Brother-esque…
